Product overview
The Air to Ground (ATG) Wireless Broadband Communication Network ( ATG network) is a land-based wireless communication network that uses a macro-cellular structure and provides high-bandwidth (30Mb-1Gb) wireless communication links between aircrafts and network on the ground. The ATG network adopts the fourth-generation or fifth-generation mobile communication technologies and features large network coverage area, high bandwidth, and low network latency.
Product Composition
Airborne equipment consists of ATG airborne communication terminals and antennas to form a communication link with ground base stations.
Ground base station consists of BBU, RRU and base station antennas. Base stations provide wireless broadband network coverage for airspace and enables two-way data transmission with airborne equipment.
Core Network manages convergence of data links with base stations as well as routing of data from transmission with base stations.
Ground optical fiber connects ground base stations to the core network.
Applications
Ultra-high bandwidth wireless data links for aerial vehicles.
UAV control at beyond-the-visual-range distance.
Real time transmission of mass data from airborne mission equipment on all kinds of aerial vehicles.
Monitoring of real time flight and equipment status of aerial vehicles.
